This week I haven't worked out at all. I have had basketball practice everyday after school. My vertical all in all increased about 7 inches and i'm dunking off an alley every time now. I am getting more boards then ever. We had a game last Friday and I had a ton of rebounds and I had 14 points. We all played good and I took a ice bath so I could get my legs ready for the game. This year I have been playing really well and am playing how my coach wants me to. Being able to jump higher has made me play and get a lot more rebounds. I didn't get 9 inches but I got close I have been jumping great. I'm glad my teacher gave me this assignment because it gave me more incentive to workout.

This week was are second game I have not been working out any this week because I have basketball practice every single day. We played yesterday, we played West Rowan. I didn't get taken out of the game till the end and my legs felt great. I take a ice bath at school before every game. After I take the Ice bath my legs feel great. I have been getting more rebounds then ever now. I go to the rim and jump over people to get them. The West Rowan game I didn't that many rebounds because I had to stay on number 23 the whole time because he could shoot but otherwise I would have. But all in all this week I have been jumping good.
This week I didn't work out any but I have been icing my knees for the game. Last night was are first game here at the high school I cam out feeling good. Because yesterday during smart lunch I took a ice bath. My knees and my whole body were feeling great. When the game started I was a starter and I came out hot scoring 5 in the first quarter. I was boxing out really good and i got at least 15 rebounds throughout the whole game. I had several assists and 2 blocks shots. I finished the game scoring 7. My legs were feeling good and i felt ready for the season.
This week has been very slow i took this week off as a recovery week. Basketball season has started and we have are first game Monday. We have had basketball practice everyday this week. So my body has time to recovery. We are just now finishing tryouts for the basketball team. I will be playing JV Basketball this year. I hope this that my ppg. will be really good.
This week I worked out 4 days of the week and Iḿ feeling really good about my vertical. I have been really tired though and my legs have been cramping. Basketball season is starting next week and iḿ so ready for it to start i will be on jv and i´m ready to shine this year.
This week has been very slow i took this week I worked out one time. Basketball season is about to start and my legs are feeling exhausted. I think this season is going to be a great opportunity for me. This week is going to be hard for me working out because i´m going to have go right in to working out for basketball season.
This week I finally quit my job. Now i´m working on getting my school grades right. If I want to maybe go to college and play basketball my grades have to be excellent. But this week i´m going to try to workout as much as possible. I need to get at least 2 good workouts in this week to be getting back on track. I did workout 2 days last week, but this week needs to be more. My workouts cosist of box jumps, 1 legged box jumps, uphill sprints, uphill squat jumps, 360 squat jumps, and riding my bike. I don´t do these everyday I alternate them, so it makes it easier on your body.
This week is the week i'm starting it again. My ankle has healed completely and i'm good. Tomorrow at 5:30 A.M. My workout is going to be tough but i'm getting back in the groove. Before this project is over I will be dunking and that is the truth. It Is getting easier and easier to dunk off a ally now i just can almost get the ball over the rim. When I get my whole wrist above the rim I´ll be ready to flush it.
Today October 8th I was playing basketball at the Ymca and I rolled my ankle. My workout is going to be postponed for at least 3-4 days. But before then I have been waking up 5:30 and working out. right now my jumping ability is about the same still pulling the rim down with two hands.
This week I have been working a lot. So i haven't been able to do my work out that much. I have went from barely touching the rim off two feet, to pulling the rim down with two hands. Grabbing the rim now off one foot i can do without even trying, its gotten easy.
Today October 4 I am going straight home to do my workout it usually takes about one and a half hours to do my workout. But I can already see that my vertical is increasing. Its only been a week and my jumping ability is coming back. By the end of these 12 weeks I am hoping to dunk before basketball season. |
